Global Immersion Project: Peking University, Guanghua School of Management Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, School of Business and Management
Dates: May 17 - June 20, 2009 By working and studying within an international context, students develop a better understanding of the social, economic, and cultural dynamics affecting global organizations. Each immersion experience offers students additional depth within their functional area of concentration while providing an opportunity to create a tailored experience through the capstone project course. The global immersion project is held for six weeks between mid-May through the end of June.
The McIntire School of Commerce has partnered with some of the most dynamic universities and organizations within the leading global business centers in Europe and Asia. Faculty at the host institution will teach six of the nine credit hours required during the term.
A McIntire faculty member will join students for a major portion of the residency in each location and will teach and oversee the capstone project course. Students from the Financial Services or Marketing and Management tracks may choose either Europe or Asia as their global immersion project destination.
